Farm Bookings
Please read these terms and conditions carefully and contact us if you have any queries before you arrive. When you confirm your purchase, you are accepting that these terms and conditions form the basis of a contract between us (Chestnut Farm) and you (visitor).
Bronze Private Sessions

Up to 2 people, including the package recipient, may attend the private sessions included in the bronze package. The sessions are for a one-time use only and are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
The private tour lasts approximately 45 minutes. If the recipient of the bronze sponsorship package is under 18, then they must be accompanied by an adult. Please note that children must be supervised at all times.
Private sessions are subject to availability, and while we will make every attempt to schedule them at a time that is convenient for both parties , we cannot guarantee specific dates or times.
Private sessions must be planned and organised in advance. In the event of a no show or cancellation without at least 24 hours notice, the session will be deemed cancelled and cannot be moved to another date or time.In the very unlikely event that we cannot proceed with a sanctuary tour, we reserve the right to cancel any scheduled tour or event at any time. In such circumstances, you will be asked if you would like to transfer to an alternative date at no additional cost.
Participants enter at their own risk and must follow all safety guidelines and regulations established by the sanctuary during their session. Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in termination of the session. We ask that visitors do not touch/handle the animals without prior consent from a member of staff.

Silver Private Sessions

Up to 3 people, including the package recipient, may attend the private sessions included in the silver package. The sessions are for a one-time use only and are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
The private tour lasts approximately 1 hour. If the recipient of the silver sponsorship package is under 18, then they must be accompanied by an adult. Please note that children must be supervised at all times.
Private sessions are subject to availability, and while we will make every attempt to schedule them at a time that is convenient for both parties , we cannot guarantee specific dates or times.
Private sessions must be planned and organised in advance. The private tour lasts approximately 1.5 hours. If the recipient of the gold sponsorship package is under 18, then they must be accompanied by an adult. Please note that children must be supervised at all times.
Private sessions are subject to availability, and while we will make every attempt to schedule them at a time that is convenient for both parties , we cannot guarantee specific dates or times.
Private sessions must be planned and organised in advance. Booking Process
Prices are inclusive of any taxes. We endeavour to ensure that the information and prices on our website are accurate, however occasionally changes and errors occur, and we reserve the right to correct prices and other details in such circumstances. You should check the current price and all other details relating to the arrangements that you wish to book, before your booking request is made. All tours are sold subject to availability.
Booking confirmation will only be issued once we have received full payment from you. Online bookings are not confirmed until a personalised e-mail detailing that a booking is confirmed is sent by Chestnut Farm.
In the very unlikely event that we cannot proceed with a Farm Tour, we reserve the right to cancel any scheduled tour or event at any time. In such circumstances you will be asked if you would like to transfer to an alternative date at no additional cost, however you can also request a full refund if you prefer.
In the event of a no show, or a reduction in numbers booked and paid for, the full cost of the booking is charged and is nonrefundable.
Arrival
You MUST arrive at your specified time. We cannot allow entry to the farm before your arrival time. Please do not try to access the farm site until your pre booked time. Please print your ticket or be prepared to present your booking number on your device.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult to be permitted entry. You must be 11 or older to take part in a Farm booking activity by yourself, any younger and you will need supervision which comes at a £10 charge per supervisor.
Anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be refused entry.
We reserve the right to refuse entry to late arrivals.
All Tours and entry to Farm are pre-booked.
COVID-19
PLEASE DO NOT VISIT OUR FARM IF YOU ARE DISPLAYING ANY COVID-19 SYMPTOMS
If you have to cancel your visit due to yourself or a member of your party having to self-isolate or having COVID-19 symptoms, we will offer a full refund.
Behaviour during farm Bookings
Hand washing facilities are provided. We will ask all visitors to wash their hands on arrival with the soap provided and dry with paper towels. This is to be repeated before tea/coffee break, and again before leaving.
You must comply with all reasonable requests and directions from us, and strictly obey farm signs indicating no go areas.
You must comply with any Government imposed COVID requirements e.g. social distancing, which are enforced at the time of your tour.
We have a strict No Smoking Policy throughout the farm.
All visitors to Chestnut Farm participate in tours at their own risk. We will not be liable for any loss or injury suffered by you resulting from any activity which is beyond the direct control of the farm. You are advised not to bring any items of special value along to our farm tours. We will not accept responsibility for the loss or damage to any personal possessions.
You shall be responsible for and pay compensation relating any damage to or destruction of any property belonging to us, which is directly attributable to you or a member of your group.

Eating is not permitted on the tour. Eating of any kind is only permitted in areas that will be pointed out to you after your visit if it corresponds with the type of visit you have purchased.
You must not feed any of the animals during the tour.
Adults are responsible for the supervision and safety of their children at all times. Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring their children do not put their hands in their mouths after touching animals.
Unacceptable and violent behaviour towards Chestnut Farm staff or other tour guests will not be tolerated, and we reserve the right to ask anyone showing aggressive or confrontational behaviour to leave.
Cancellations
Please check the confirmation carefully to make sure that all your booking details are correct. If your confirmation appears to be incorrect or incomplete, please notify us immediately and we will endeavour to make the necessary changes.
Unfortunately, we cannot issue any refunds for cancellations, no shows or reduced numbers. Bookings are transferable at our discretion to an alternative date or time if you contact us directly via email or phone at least 48 hours prior to your booked arrival time, any thing received after this 48 hours prior will be dealt on a case by case basis. We cannot guarantee that we can change the date of your visit, however we will make all reasonable efforts to do so.
Tours cancelled due to a pandemic (for example foot and mouth disease, E Coli, or any other environmental issue that forces the farm to close) will be given a full refund.
Weather
We will not cancel tours due to inclement weather, unless in the very unlikely event that we deem it unsafe or unreasonable to be exposed to the weather. It is important to provide a mobile telephone number when you book so that we can contact you, in the event of tours being cancelled. You must come to the farm dressed in warm waterproof and appropriate clothing and footwear. It is a good idea to bring empty carrier bags or bin liners for any dirty footwear that you remove before entering your vehicle.
Medical and Special Needs
We will try to accommodate disabilities and medical problems where we can, but please be aware that many of our tours may not be suitable. If you or any member of your party has a disability or medical problem which may affect their ability to attend our tours, please enquire first before booking, giving us full details so that we can advise you as to the suitability of your chosen arrangements. If we are not informed of any disabilities or medical problems in this way, then we cannot be held responsible for any cost or inconvenience occurred. In most cases, wheelchair access is something we cannot accommodate for. In most cases we will allow you to come down and see what the farm is like for yourself to see if it is suitable - please only do this with written permission from a member of staff to insure your safety.

Departing the farm
You MUST leave within the time frame given to you by your booking to allow for farm duties to take place as well as the preparation for other visitors to also take place.
Other
Please note: Any special requests must be raised with us at the time of booking. Whilst we will try to accommodate your reasonable special requests, we cannot guarantee that they will be fulfilled and failure to meet any special request will not be a breach of contract on our part.
If you wish to make a private tour booking, please contact us to discuss your requirements further.
Itineraries are subject to change and at times it may be necessary to restrict access to certain areas of the farm. We will endeavour to publicise any such changes on our social media channels.
We may use images and videos of you, taken during your visit for advertising and promotional purposes. You must let us know ahead of your visit if you do not give permission for us to do so.
